Strikeforce Sensation Ronda Rousey Appears On Joe Rogan’s Latest Podcast

Winning your first four professional fights by armbar all within the first minute of the first round is a great way to get noticed as a fighter. If you also happen to be a woman, are easy on the eye and have a bronze medal in Judo at the Olympics then you’ll quickly find yourself on the fast-track to success as Ronda Rousey has recently discovered.

The 24 year-old is currently creating quite a buzz in Strikeforce’s woman’s divisions with both 135lb champion Meisha Tate and 145lb queen Cris ‘Cyborg’ Santos both being touted as potential opponents for this emerging star.

UFC color-commentator Joe Rogan is well aware of Rousey’s talents and so he welcomed her aboard as a guest on the latest edition of his wildly popular podcast this week where he was also joined by his good friend and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu mastermind Eddie Bravo.

Being asked to appear on the show must have been flattering for the fighter as though Rogan is closely associated with mixed martial arts it’s relatively rare for him to invite a fighter.

Off the top of my head I can only think of Bas Rutten and Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller making an appearance in the past, though there have also been a few other MMA related personas like journalist Josh Gross and commentator Michael Schiavello.
