Strikeforce Set To Dip Toes In Pay-Per-View Waters This July

With the ink now dry on Zuffa’s takeover of Strikeforce, the promotion have now accelerated their ambition to hold a pay-per-view event.

According to MMAWeekly July has now been earmarked for the first ever Strikeforce PPV card, though an exact date is unknown at this time.

There’s not a whole lot to go on in terms of the line-up either, though former Strikeforce 205lb champion King Mo is believed to be returning from a long-term injury to take on Roger Gracie on the main card.

As for the main event, common sense would dictate that stars like Dan Henderson and Fedor Emelianenko are likely to be under consideration. Gina Carano is currently rumored to be fighting in June, but with nothing set in stone yet she could also feature.
