Terry Etim looked spectacular in his return to the Octagon after a lengthy layoff tonight at UFC 138, finishing Edward Faaloloto in just 17 seconds.

What was so impressive about Etim’s performance was how much he managed to cram into those 17 seconds.

His striking looked very crisp from the off, even managing to catch Faaloloto with a two piece combo while moving backwards, followed up by a spinning back kick.

Faaloloto looked for a takedown, but not before Etim had time to leap into a guillotine choke and pull him down into his guard.

The choke was deep and it was only seconds later that the Brazilian was forced to tap.

Considering Etim hasn’t fought since April of 2010 it was remarkable to see him looking so sharp and free of ring rust here and this performance confirms his place as one of the UK’s top talents at this moment in time.
