The Ultimate Fighter: Live Episode 4 – TV Ratings

The TV ratings are in for Friday night’s fourth episode of TUF: Live and show that an average of 1.1 million viewers tuned in to the episode on FX.

That’s down 100,000 from the previous week and continues the underwhelming performance of the show since it began airing in it’s new live format on FX.

Clearly things aren’t quite going according to plan for TUF so far on the network that many of us, including UFC President Dana White, believed would actually help improve the ratings for the long running show.

So far the changed to a live format has worked out ok as there’s actually been some pretty good fights and plenty of finishes, but there hasn’t been much to write home about in terms of the weekly goings on in the TUF house. There doesn’t seem to be many big personalities amongst the current crop of fighters and I think that’s a problem as they attempt to hook in the casual audience going forward.

We’re still in the early stages of the season though, so hopefully the ratings will improve over time.

TUF Live TV Ratings So Far:

TUF Live Episode 1: 1.28 million viewers
TUF Live Episode 2: 1.1 million viewers
TUF Live Episode 3: 1.2 million viewers
TUF Live Episode 4: 1.1 million viewers
