Tickets For UFC 149 In Calgary Have Already Sold Out

Canada has once again proven itself to be a happy hunting ground for the UFC as it’s emerged that UFC 149 in Calgary on July 21st has already sold out.

Tickets went on sale to fight club members on Thursday, UFC newsletter subscribers on Friday, and then finally the general public the following day, and that was all it took for aprox 18,000 fans to snap them their places at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

This will mark the UFC’s first ever visit to Calgary and they’ll be bringing a title fight for the occasion with featherweight champion Jose Aldo set to face Erik Koch in the main event.

There’ll also be a strong supporting card for the show featuring the likes of Michael Bisping, Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

This is far from the last time The UFC will visit Canada in 2012 with dates already set in place for September in Toronto and Montreal in November.
