Swedish fans have waited a long time to have the UFC arrive on their shores, and so they wasted little time in snapping up tickets to the first ever Scandinavian UFC event when tickets went on sale yesterday.

In fact it took just three hours for ‘UFC On Fuel TV 2’, which will take place at the Globe Arena in Stockholm on April 14th, to completely sell out.

This follows a similar pattern for UFC shows debuting in other foreign countries in the past such as in the UK, Australia and most recently Brazil who’ve all shown a huge appetite for watching mixed martial arts action live.

Catering to the avid Swedish fan-base, the event will be headlined by homegrown 205lb talent Alexander Gustafsson who’ll take on his biggest challenge yet when he faces Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
