Tom Lawlor made short work of Jason MacDonald tonight, recording a knockout victory inside of the first minute at ‘UFC On Fuel TV 3’.
Lawlor staved off an early takedown attempt from MacDonald and then was able to corner him against the fence before unleashing a straight left hand that connected cleanly to his opponents chin.
That appeared to wobble MacDonald, but it was then followed by a right hand behind his ear and that sent MacDonald falling face first onto the canvas, out cold.
With only 50 seconds on the clock this was a short night’s work for Lawlor and gets him back to winning ways in the UFC’s middleweight division.
Meanwhile, MacDonald’s now lost 3 of his last four and you have to wonder now whether retirement is back in the 36 year-old veteran’s mind.
