TUF 12 Finale Draws Average Audience Of 2 Million On Spike TV

TV viewing figures released today show that Saturday night’s TUF 12 Finale drew an average audience of 2 million on Spike TV.

The event peaked at 2.3 million viewers during the first half hour of the show, and garnered an overall 1.4 household rating.

The figures paralleled those for TUF season 11 earlier in the year which also pulled in 2 million viewers, peaking at 2.4 million.

That indicates that the show was relatively unaffected by the fact it was running head-to-head with Strikeforce: Henderson Vs Babalu on Showtime.  That show drew 341,000 viewers, peaking at 465,000 and pulled in an overall 1.2 household rating.

Next up The Ultimate Fighter season 12 coaches Georges St.Pierre and Josh Koscheck will fight at UFC 124 this coming Saturday, and the rivalry between the two is expected to help bring solid pay-per-view ratings for the promotion.
