The Ultimate Fighter has been struggling to produce solid ratings in it’s thirteenth season on Spike TV, and things appear to be going from bad to worse as figures released today reveal the 7th episode produced the lowest ratings so far.

An average of just 1 million viewers tuned in to Wednesday nights episode, down two hundred thousand from the previous week, and producing just a 0.8 household rating, along with 0.9 ratings for both men 18-34 and men 18-49.

It will be interesting to see how the ratings respond next week after last night’s breaking news that Season 13 coach Brock Lesnar has once again fallen ill with Diverticulitis.

That may result in a ratings increase due to renewed interest in Lesnar, particularly given the revalation that he was experiencing symptoms again during the show and was taking antibiotics to combat it.

For the rest of the season however, the fact that team coaches Lesnar and Junior Dos Santos eventual fight at UFC 131 next month has now been canceled may result in even less interest in the episodes still to be aired.
