TV ratings for the 13th season of The Ultimate Fighter rebounded slightly this week, with Wednesday’s episode being watched by an average of 1.2 million viewers.
That’s up 200,000 from the season low 1 million that tuned in last week, but is still a low number in comparison to previous seasons of the long-running show.
The eighth episode also drew a 0.8 household rating and pulled in a weak a 0.6 rating for the 18-49 adult demo.
We speculated last week whether the news that team coach Brock Lesnar is now facing another batle with the career-threatening Diverticulitis illness may produce a spike in ratings, but there’s not too much evidence of that.
The concern now will be that due to his fight with opposite team coach Junior Dos Santos having now been scrapped due to his illness, that could also degrade ratings as the season moves towards it’s conclusion.
