The final episode of TUF 14 pior to the season finale in Las Vegas aired on Spike TV on Wednesday and drew an average of 1.7 million viewers.

That was enough to make it the most watched episode of the season and also earned it a 1.2 household rating, along with a 1.7 for males age 18-49, and a 1.91 in males age 18-34.

Overall the ratings have been far more solid this time around than they were earlier in the year for TUF 13.

That’s partially down to the far livelier coaching pairing of Michael Bisping and Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller and the promise of good quality fights thanks to a seasoned collection of bantamweight and featherweight fighters vying for a chance to be called the next ‘Ultimate Fighter’.

This week’s episode marked the last for the long-running series on Spike TV before it moves to a new live format on FX in 2012.
