There was good news for The Ultimate Fighter Season 14 this week as ratings rose to an average of 1.6 million viewers on Spike TV, 100,000 up on the previous week while also scoring a 1.22 household rating.
That’s significant as the previous season of TUF also drew 1.5 milllion for it’s premiere, but then dropped to 1.2 million the following week and never recovered.
All the indications are that this season will be more entertaining however, thanks to the personalities of the team coaches Michael Bisping and Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller and the cast of fighters which features a highly talented selection of bantamweight and featherweight contenders.
This will be the final season of TUF on Spike TV before it switches to a live format on FX in the new year.
