The Ultimate Fighter 13 doesn’t begin airing until the end of the month, but speculation is already mounting about the following season.

Today the UFC announced that the 14th season will for the first time feature both bantamweights and featherweights.  The tryouts are expected to take place in New Jersey on March 21st.

According to a report on Sherdog UFC execs are hoping to line up former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber and current bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz as the coaches, assuming that Faber can get past Eddie Wineland in the co-main event of UFC 128 on March 19th.

It’s a match-up that makes sense.  Faber has the star-power to carry the show, while the two men already have a rivalry and this will be the perfect way to promote a title fight between them.
