TUF 18 Finale: Fighter Salaries

The fighter salaries have been released for last weekend’s TUF 18 Finale and show a relatively lean payroll.

Topping the list was Gray Maynard who trousered $45,000 despite losing in the main event to Nate Diaz who somewhat surprisingly only earned $30,000.

There’s some debate as to whether Diaz’s payout may be incorrect however as he was paid a flat $50,000 for his previous fight and it’s unlikely that the long time UFC fighter, who’s headlined several shows for the promotion over the years, will have taken a paycut at this stage in his career.

Elsewhere the TUF newcomers were all paid a uniform $8,000 to show and $8,000 for a win.

Throughout it all I've remained captivated by the sport and I'm excited to cover what comes next here on MMA Insight.
