TUF 18 Finale: Medical Suspensions

The medical suspensions resulting from Saturday’s, ‘TUF 18 Finale’ have now been released and show that a few fighters could be facing a lengthy suspension.

Amongst them is newly crowned female TUF winner Julianna Pena who’s believed to have broken her thumb during her victory which could keep her out for an extended period.

An illegal knee to the face while he was grounded resulted in Akira Corassani earning a disqualification victory, but he was left with a broken nose that’ll require him to sit out for the next six months.

Ryan Benoit is also facing a six month layoff for a suspected broken left hand, though that blow will surely be softened by the $100,000 in bonus money he received at the weekend, and he’ll be joined by Drew Dober who fractured his right orbital.

Throughout it all I've remained captivated by the sport and I'm excited to cover what comes next here on MMA Insight.
