Fuel TV’s coverage of The Ultimate Fighter Live prelims on Friday night drew an average of 165,000 viewers and peaked at 241,000.

That’s enough to break Fuel TV’s record for live preliminary coverage, beating out the ‘UFC On FX 1 Prelims’ which were watched by 148,000.

Given the fact that the main card over on FX could only draw a disappointing 1 million viewers it’s nice to hear a bit of positive news from it’s younger sibling.

In all honesty though, it’s hard to see the reason for the increase in viewers though considering the Finale seems to have generally been overlooked and under-publicized, while the prelim card consisted largely of fighters from the current season of TUF.

Ratings For Prelim Shows On Fuel TV So Far:

  • TUF Live Finale (prelims): 165,000
  • UFC on FX 1 ratings (prelims): 148,000
  • UFC on FOX 2 ratings (prelims): 144,000
  • UFC on FX 2 ratings (prelims): 113,000
  • UFC on FOX 3 ratings (prelims): 86,000
