Tyron Woodley TKO’s Dong Hyun Kim Result In 61 Seconds At UFC Fight Night 48

Tyron Woodley claimed a fast finish over Dong Hyun Kim today at UFC Fight Night 48 in Macau, dropping him in the opening minute before earning the TKO stoppage with a flurry of right hands.

Round One:

Kim immediately closes the distance and moves into the clinch, but Woodley spins around and pushes him up against the cage. Bit of a stalemate and so they break free.

Kim attempts a spinning backfist, but he gets caught with a huge right hook from Woodley on the way in and falls to the canvas. He looks woozy and attempts to rolls to his back, getting caught with another right hand from Woodley as he does so.

Woodley continues to blast away at him with his right hand and the referee jumps in to save Kim from further punishment, handing Woodley a TKO victory with just 1.01mins of the first round gone.

So, a big win for Woodley against a tough opponent – exactly what he needed after a luckluster performance last time out.
