UFC 106: Main Card Now Complete

It’s been a turbulent time of the UFC in recent weeks due to a number of injuries to key fighters.  One of the events that’s suffered the most has been UFC 106, which has had seen multiple changes to it’s original main card.

The UFC have now put forth a new main card,  which, as we reported last week, will be headlined by a rematch between Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin.

Fresh from his whirlwind knockout victory over Yoshida at UFC 104, Anthony Johnson is quickly called back into action against Josh Koscheck, while Amir Sadollah and Phil Baroni benefit from the rearranged schdule as their bout is bumped up to the main card from it’s original undercard slot.

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira makes his octagon debut on the main card against Luiz Kane, and opening up the television portion of the show will be the return of Karo Parisyan after serving a suspension for testing positive for banned painkillers, as he takes on submission specialist Dustin Hazelett.
