As far as injuries go it would appear that UFC 106 passed off without too much incident. The worst damage would appear to have been suffered by Luiz Cane en-route to his knockout defeat at the hands of Rogerio Nogueira which left him with a suspected right orbital fracture.

Marcus Davis: Broken Nose

After suffering the first K.O of his career Marcus Davis awoke to be told that he had a broken nose. Brock Larson suffered a similar injury during his loss to Brian Foster.

Meanwhile Forrest Griffin has a right foot injury, and Jason Dent a left knee injury following their bouts at the event.

All of the above fighters are suspended for 6 months, thought they will likely be cleared to fight by a doctor long before that time is over.

On this card perhaps the most notable part of the medical suspensions is those who were not injured. For instance, despite claiming to have fought with a cracked skull, Tito Ortiz had no injuries to speak of according to his post-fight check-up.

Phil Baroni: Lacerations

Also, though both Josh Koscheck and Anthony Johnson recieved eye pokes during there co-main event bout, thankfully they appear to have emerged relatively unscathed.

Finally despite absorbing large amounts of punishment in the third round of his fight with Amir Sadollah, Phil Baroni was diagnosed with minor lacerations and is only suspended until the start of next year.
