This Saturday’s UFC 111 eventĀ  is set to be one of the most stacked cards in quite some time, and reflecting that the show will attract a sell-out crowd to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Dana White today revealed that over 17,000 fans will be in attendance to watch the two title fights featuring Georges St.Pierre Vs Dan Hardy and Frank Mir Vs Shane Carwin.

In addition the UFC president said the event will pull in a gate of around $4 million, a huge number for the promotion, though still falling short of the top 5 biggest gates in the company’s history which UFC 66’s ‘Ortiz Vs Liddell 2’ event which brought in $5.4 million from ticket sales.

The UFC will now be hoping they can produce a similarly impressive performance for their pay per view sales.
