The pieces of the UFC 119 puzzle are starting to come together.  MMAWeekly today revealed that Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Ryan Bader have verbally agreed to fight at the September 25th event.

The light-heavyweight bout is expected to serve as the co-main event for the Indianapolis show and a win for either man would put them firmly into title contention at 205lbs.

Rogerio narrowly avoided defeat in his last outing against Jason Brilz recently to record his second win in the UFC and take his current unbeaten run to seven fights.

TUF season 8 winner Bader will carry a record of 11-0 into the fight, and recorded a KO win over Keith Jardine in his last visit to the octagon in February.

As yet there is no confirmation of who will feature in the headline bout for the event.  Earlier in the week it was rumored that Lesnar Vs Velasquez was under consideration, but Dana White has since confirmed that won’t be the case.

Today Brazilian site Tatame has suggested that Rogerio’s brother Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira could also feature on the same card in the main event, with Frank Mir believed to be his likely opponent in a rematch of their December 2008 encounter.

Mir won on that occasion, but Nogueira has since insisted he was in a weakened condition after a staph infection and has been eager for a rematch.
