Middleweight contender Michael Bisping is currently hard at work training for his fight with Yoshihiro Akiyama which will serve as the main event at october 16th’s UFC 120 event in London, England.

In the clips below you can see Bisping getting put through his paces with a unique strength and conditioning program thanks to the UK based Strength And Performance gym who also oversaw this aspect of his training prior to UFC 114.

Of course ‘The Count’s’ conditioning has always been regarded as one of his best assets, but his current program is also designed to add the kind of strength and explosive power to his arsenal which could help to bring about the elusive KO win on his UFC record that he craves.

To be fair, though critics often question his punching power, it should be noted that six of Bisping’s nine victories in the octagon have finished inside the distance by TKO.

Prior to his last fight Bisping also noted that in the early days of his move down to middleweight he barely cut any weight at all to ensure he made the weight limit, whereas in more recent times he has bulked up and cuts in the region of 15lbs prior to his fights.

Along with the s&c videos scroll down to watch a recent video blog from Bisping during his regular training at the Wolfslair where he discusses his upcoming fight with Akiyama in more detail, and has a few choice words for rivals Patrick Cote and Chael Sonnen.
