In a new interview with Brock Lesnar the UFC heavyweight champion assesses his next opponent, Cain Velasquez at UFC 121 on October 23rd.

“Going into and preparing for the Cain Velasquez fight in October, he’s a similar fighter to Shane [Carwin],” Lesnar tells his sponsor Federal Premium Ammo. “Both guys are very accomplished wrestlers and both guys are very accomplished fighters, so I mean we changed the gamplan a little bit. Cain’s a little more versatile, he’s a little more faster and he’s has a lot more tools in his toolbox so I think he poses different threats in different situations.

“So, we’ll just prepare ourselves for going into it for a full-out fight, that’s the way it’s got to be. I’m going to be very physical in this fight and just keep the head down and keep ploughing, and prove why Brock Lesnar is the UFC heavyweight champion.”

“The prediction for Cain Velasquez is Brock Lesnar, TKO, second round.”
