The full list of medical suspensions resulting from Saturday night’s UFC 121 event in Anaheim, California has now been released.

The beating former champion Brock Lesnar took at the hands of Cain Velasquez has left him facing a potential 180 day suspension for an eye injury, with 60 days also required for the large laceration on his left cheek.

Others facing six months suspensions following the event include a number of other eye problems – Patrick Cote with a damaged retina and Jake Shields with blurred vision, and hand injuries – Court McGee with a suspected broken hand and Diego Sanchez with a fractured wrist.

It should however be noted that all the fighters mentioned can come back quicker if given a doctor’s approval.
