UFC 121: Two Prelim Fights Named For Spike TV Broadcast

UFC 121 on October 23rd is set to be another blockbuster pay-per-event for the UFC with Brock Lesnar taking on Cain Velasquez in the headline bout.

Today Spike TV announced that they will be hosting another one of their hour long prelim specials before the event, featuring two fights from the undercard live.

The first sees former 185lb No.1 contender Patrick Cote taking on Tom Lawlor as both fighters look to get back to winning ways in the division.

TUF 11’s Court McGee also features in his first fight since winning the show, taking on Ryan Jensen who is 1-1 inside the octagon so far this year.

The Spike show airs at 9PM Eastern Time, directly before the main card goes live on pay-per-view.  So far the prelim shows have proven to be a success for the network, consistently drawing well over 1 million viewers.
