The medical suspension report is in for this past weekend’s UFC 133 event and shows that the show passed without too many serious injuries being sustained.

    The longest suspension was handed to rafael Natal who will be out indefinitely with a suspected fracture to his right hand. Meanwhile Yoshihiro Akiyama is out for 60 days and requires a neurlogical exam following his KO loss to Vior Belfort.

    A number of other fighters including main event star Tito Ortiz, Dennis Hallman and Mike Pyle all face 45 day suspensions as a precautionary mesaure.

  • Tito Ortiz: Suspended 45 days for precautionary reasons
  • Yoshihiro Akiyama: Suspended 60 days due to possible head injuries; must have a neurological exam before returning to competition
  • Dennis Hallman: Suspended 45 days for precautionary reasons

  • Matt Hamill: Suspended 45 days for precautionary reasons
  • Rafael Natal: Suspended indefinitely due to a right-hand injury; must have hand cleared by a physician before returning to competition
  • Paul Bradley: Suspended for 30 days for a left-knee injury; must be cleared by a physician before returning to competition
