Saturday night’s UFC 134 preliminary show on Spike TV produced an average of 1.3 million viewers according to figures released today.

While that’s around about the average mark for the series it’s likely that the figures were skewed a little by the fact that some people were not able to watch it live due to the effects of Hurricane Irene.

For that reason Spike TV plan to re-run the show on Thursday along with an Anderson Silva marathon featuring his fights on the ‘UFC Unleashed’ show.

If you haven’t seen it yet then the UFC 134 prelim broadcast was well worth a watch, particularly for the bizarre and highly entertaining battle between Rousimar Palhares and Dan Miller. Also featured was Thiago Tavares Vs Spencer Fisher.
