Nick Diaz claimed after UFC 137 that he can’t afford to move out of the rough area of Stockton he currently resides in, but a $200,000 basic salary + a $75,000 ‘Fight Of The Night’ bonus suggests otherwise.

Diaz, who also earned $175,000 for his last appearance in Strikeforce, was in fact the top earner on the night, followed by his opponent BJ Penn who picked up $150,000.

Also earning a six figure sum was heavyweight fighter Cheick Kongo, while Mirko Cro Cop boosted his bank balance to the tune of $75,000 for his last ever fight.
