The weigh-ins have now taken place for tomorrow night’s UFC 146 event in Las Vegas and you can see what all the fighters tipped the scales at below.
Dos Santos looked very much the confident champion as he weighed in, while Mir was relaxed, but to my eye looked a little thick around the waist.
The most intense staredown certainly belonged to Velasquez and ‘Bigfoot’ (who certainly lives up to his nickname and has the hands to match), with the Brazilian in particular putting on his best mean face and then keeping it even as they shook hands and broke away.
Further down the card it’s worth noting that Roy Nelson came in at 254lbs which is lighter than he was back in the day, but is actually 8lbs heavier than his last fight so it looks like his days of trying to slim down are already over.
