Saturday night’s UFC 149 prelims drew a disappointing 1 million viewers on FX, one of the lowest ratings so far on the channel.

That’s a far cry from the record 1.8 million viewers who tuned in for UFC 148 a few weeks earlier, though to be fair that event had far more hype behind it than this one.

It’s unfortunate though as the UFC 149 preliminary action proved to be far more entertaining than the main PPV card that aired later that night.

Amongst it’s best moments were Ryan Jimmo’s seven second KO of Anthony Perosh, Bryan Caraway and Mitch Gagnon’s ‘Fight Of The Night’ performance and Francisco Rivera’s impressive first round knockout against Roland Delorme, ensuring that those who chose not to tune in will be wishing they had.
