Saturday night’s live UFC 152 prelim show on FX drew an average of 974,000 viewers, down 19,000 from UFC 150.
The show also pulled a 0.82 rating amongst 18-49 year-old males, and a 0.66 for males aged 18-34.
Overall it’s the second lowest average rating for the UFC’s preliminary coverage on FX, and the fourth to dip under the one million mark.
NCAA football games dominated the television coverage on Saturday night which won’t have helped the UFC’s cause, but still it is a little disappointing that after a relatively quiet period on the MMA front that more people didn’t tune in to see what turned out to be a good two hours of fights prior to the main card on PPV.
