UFC 155: Medical Suspensions

The medical suspensions list for UFC 155 is now in and susprisingly Junior Dos Santos escaped a lengthy spell out of action.

In fact JDS only faces a 45 day suspension after hospital tests showed he hadn’t suffered any major breaks, with severe swelling being his biggest ailment.

Joe Lauzon required 40 stitches to a cut that left him bleeding prefusely in his co-main event fight, but the good news is that’ll only keep him out for 60 days.

Other fighters did get handed a full 180 day suspension though, including Tim Boetsch who’s got a broken nose (though no mention of a broken hand) and Alan Belcher who’s damaged both his jaw and knee.

Prelim fighters Michael Johnson and Todd Duffee could also be out for six months due to a hand and knee injury respectively.
