UFC 155 Prelims: TV Ratings

Saturday night’s UFC 155 preliminary coverage drew an average of 1.4 million viewers on FX according to figures released today.

That’s a strong showing for the final prelim show of the year, bettered only by the UFC 148 prelims in July which drew 1.8 million viewers.

Coming off improved ratings for ‘UFC On FOX 5’ earlier in December this is more good news for the UFC and it’ll be interesting to see if they can maintain that upward trend in the year ahead.

Strong prelim numbers can sometimes (though not always) be an early indication that an event will also do solid pay-per-view numbers so that’ll also be worth looking out for in the coming days.
