UFC 156: Medical Suspensions List

The medical suspensions list resulting from last weekend’s UFC 156 event has now been released and shows four fighters are facing up to six months on the sidelines due to injuries sustained during their fights.

That includes two fighters who actually won their fights – Antonio Rogerio Nogueira suffered an eye injury while en-route to a decision win over Rashad Evans, as did Evan Dunham who’ll have a long recovery after fracturing his orbital bone in a decision win over Gleison Tibau.

Frankie Edgar also has a suspected orbital fracture and Francisco Rivera is believed to have damaged his left hand and wrist.

Surprisingly, despite a tough stoppage loss against Antonio Silva, Alistair Overeem was not deemed to have any serious injuries and faces only six weeks out.
