UFC 161 Prelims: TV Ratings

UFC 161’s live preliminary coverage on FX drew just 968,000 viewers on Saturday night.

That’s 332,000 viewers down from UFC 160’s prelims and qualifies as the third lowest prelim card aired on FX to date.

In all fairness, UFC 161 turned out to be a bit of a turn off from start to finish with a record nine out of 11 fights going to a decision.

The preliminary card was headlined by a welterweight bout between Jake Shields Vs Tyron Woodley which seems reasonable on paper, but turned out to be a lackluster affair and easily one of the worst fights on the entire card.
