Prelims:

Alexis Davis defeats Jessica Eye by split decision (29-28 x2, 28-29)

Close fight here.  Eye looked sharper and quicker in the striking battle in the opening five minutes, but Davis managed to get a takedown in the second half of the round and looked to have a distinct advantage on the mat.  She proved that even more so with a very comfortable second round dictating the fight on the mat.  The fight stayed standing in the third round though and was closely contested, and while Eye looked more technical, Davis kept pressing forward aggressively and ended up getting the nod from two of the three judges.

Raphael Assuncao defeats Pedro Munhoz by unanimous decision (30-27 x3)

Munhoz was game here and tried to push the pace, but  it was noticeable that Assuncao held a size and striking power advantage in this fight and was more willing to let  his fists fly and that helped ease him to a clean sweep on the scorecards.

Aljamain Sterling defeats Cody Gibson by unanimous decision (29-28 x3)

Solid competitive fight here, with Gibson doing well on the mat in the second round, but Sterling looked slicker on the feet in the opening five minutes and really stepped up a gear in the third round with a big takedown early and then controlled his opponent and mixed in some good ground and pound to take the round and the decision victory.

Zach Makovsky defeats Josh Sampo by unanimous decision (30-27 x2, 29-28)

Two skilled grapplers here, but Makovsky had the edge over the course of five minutes with his dominant wrestling which helped him to a decision victory.

Erik Koch defeats Rafaello Oliveira by TKO at 1.24mins of Rd1

Koch started strongly here, dropping Oliviera with a right hand and then landing some hard, clinical ground and pound to produce the TKO stoppage.

Ernest Chavez defeats Yosdenis Cedeno by split decision (29-28, 30-27, 28-29)

This proved to be a classic striker Vs grappler match-up for the most part, with Cedeno doing better on the feet early in the first round and late in the third, but the second half of the first round and much of the second belonged to Chavez on the mat with good positional control, and he also gave a competitive showing on the feet early in the third to eek out a split decision win.
