Prelims:

Paul Felder defeats Danny Castillo by KO at 2.09mins of Rd2

Brilliant display from Felder here, completely outclassing Castillo on the feet with technical, hard hitting and precise muay thai striking and then capping it off with a spinning backfist in the second round that knockout his opponent out cold.

Cody Garbrandt defeats Marcus Brimage by TKO at 4.50mins of Rd3

Garbrandt impressed in his UFC debut, taking the fight to Brimage confidently right from the opening bell. He had significant success in that opening five minutes too with slick striking and at one point had Brimage on wobbly legs with just seconds remaining. The second round was closer, but then as Brimage tried to get aggressive in the closing stages of the third Garbrandt made him pay, dropping him with a right hand. Brimage got up and tried to fight on, but was clearly rocked and Garbrandt continued to unleash more hurtful blows, eventually flooring him again with another punch and the referee has seen enough, calling a halt to this one with just 10 seconds of the fight remaining.

Shawn Jordan defeats Jared Cannonier by KO at 2.57mins of Rd1

The early exchanges between these two heavyweights were fairly even, but then out of the blue Jordan suddenly clipped Connonier behind the ear with a right hand which dropped him to the mat. He followed him down and drilled him with a flurry of lefts on the mat to seal the deal.

Evan Dunham defeats Rodrigo Damm by unanimous decision (30-27 x3)

A comfortable nights work for Dunham here as he outstruck Damm on the feet with solid boxing fundamentals, though he couldn’t find a finish and had to settle for a clean sweep on the scorecards.

Omari Akhmedov def. Mats Nilsson via unanimous decision (29-28 x3)

Akmedov largely controlled this fight on the feet and on the mat, but tired in the latter stages which allowed Nilsson back into it in the final round, though it proved to be too little, too late for him.

Marion Reneau defeats Alexis Dufresne by unanimous decision (30-26 x2, 30-25)

Dufresne found herself on the wrong end of a one-sided beating here. She had nothing for Reneau on the feet and it was only sheer guts and determination that kept her in the fight as she was repeatedly tagged with every punch in the book over the course of 15 minutes.
