Main Card:
Ronda Rousey defeats Cat Zingano by submission (armbar) at 0.14mins of Rd1
Holly Holm defeats Raquel Pennington by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 30-27)
Jake Ellenberger defeats Josh Koscheck by submission (north south choke) at 4.20mins of Rd2
Alan Jouban defeats Richard Walsh by KO at 2.19mins of Rd1
Tony Ferguson defeats Gleison Tibau by submission (rear-naked choke) at 2.37mins of Rd1
Prelims:
Roan Carneiro defeats Mark Munoz by submission (rear-naked choke) at 1.40mins of Rd1
Munoz ducked his head during an early exchange and Carneiro seized it and took him down. Munoz moved to defend a possible choke, but Carnerio smoothly found his way to his back and slipped his arm in tight under his neck. There was no escape for Munoz and he was out for a good few seconds before the ref realized despite looking directly at him.
Roman Salazar vs. Norifumi Yamamoto declared a no-contest at 2.37mins of Rd2
Unfortunately an accidental eye-poke left mid-way through the second round of this fight left Salazar unable to see out of one of his eyes and despite taking the full five minutes to recover it didn’t improve and so the bout was ruled a no-contest.
Tim Means defeats Dhiego Lima by TKO at 2.17mins of Rd1
Means got his striking game going early in this fight and it quickly paid dividends. Lima’s legs buckled for the first time after a combination featuring an elbow and a knee and after that it seemed like every time Means caught him with either a punch, knee or elbow he’d buckle again. Lima showed heart to attempt to keep upright and even tried to throw back at one stage, but he was clearly on wobbly legs and struggling to recover. It only got worse for him as Means connected cleanly to the chin and then more strikes behind it to send him toppling straight down to the mat, ending the fight.
Derrick Lewis defeats Ruan Potts by TKO at 3.18mins of Rd2
Not much quality on show in this scrappy heavyweight encounter, but nonetheless Lewis got the job done. After escaping a leg lock in the middle of the opening round Lewis started make Potts pay with his heavy hands and landed some hard ground and pound as the five minute spell came to an end. Potts didn’t look confident at all heading into the second and it wasn’t long before Lewis was able to get on top again on the mat. Potts looked eager for the fight to be over, but Lewis had to work his ground and pound for some time before the ref finally decided enough was enough.
Valmir Lazaro defeats James Krause via split decision (29-28 x2, 28-29)
Masio Fullen defeats Alexander Torres by split decision (28-29, 29-28 x2)
