UFC 187 Medical Suspensions

The UFC 187 medical suspensions list is now out and reveals a few fighters are facing the possibility of six months on the sidelines as a result of injuries picked up during their fights.

Amongst then is John Makdessi who actually waved off his fight with Donald Cerrone after a head kick left him with a suspected broken jaw.

Vitor Belfort has a left shoulder injury that could keep him out of action for up to half a year, and the same applies to Andrei Arlovski who appears to have the same ailment.

A broken nose is the reason behind Travis Browne’s 180 day suspension, while there was no reason given for Nina Ansaroff also getting six months on the sidelines.

It’s worth noting that the six month suspensions above are just a guideline and fighters can get cleared earlier by a doctor.
