UFC 195 Medical Suspensions

Following UFC 195 it’s emerged that four fighters have received a six month medical suspension as a result of the damage they sustained during their bouts.

That includes Dustin Poirier who emerged victorious in his fight with Joe Duffy, but was bleeding prefusely from his nose for much of the fight, and with good reason as it turns out it was fractured in two places.

Kyle Noke will also be sitting out for the next six months for the same reason after breaking his nose during a split decision loss to late replacement Alex Morono.

Sheldon Westcott has an injured left knee and potential fractured right hand which will sideline him for up to half a year, while Joe Soto has a damaged eye.

As for headliners Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit, their five round war has led to them being suspended for three months each.
