The UFC is continuing to stack their forthcoming visit to Rio for UFC 134 in August with Brazilian talent, and today they made two more bouts official.

First up is light-heavyweight Luiz Cane who bounced back from a two fight losing streak to claim a win over Eliot Marshall last month. Now he’s been paired up with the UFC’s new Bulgarian signing Stanislav Nedkov who brings a 10-0 record to the Octagon.

Meanwhile in a lightweight match-up, another Brazilian Thiago Tavarez will square off against wiley veteran Spencer Fisher who’s in desperate need of a win after going 1-3 in his last four visits to the cage.

The UFC also made a fight we previously reported between Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua Vs Forrest Griffin official today. Incidentally, they have held off on confirming Anderson Silva Vs Yushin Okami for now, though the feeling is that this will feature as the main event.

Other Brazilian’s rumored to be under consideration for the eagerly anticipated event include Vitor Belfort, who was told recently by Lorenzo Fertitta that they are actively seeking an opponent for him, while the exciting up and coming lightweight talent Edson Barboza is believed to be a potential opponent for Takanori Gomi.
