One of the UFC’s long-time marquee sponsors Harley Davidson have struck a new multi-year renewal deal to remain a key partner in the promotion.
The move comes just months after the UFC also signed a renewal with another high-profile sponsor in Bud Light.
To celebrate the announcement Harley Davidson awarded a brand new motorcycle to yesterday’s main event winner Chris Lytle at UFC On Versus 5.
In addition the world renowned company will now team up with the UFC in 2012 to launch a ‘Hometown Throwdown’ event which will enable fans to vote on a special interactive website in order to get a UFC event in their city.
“Harley-Davidson has been a great partner for the UFC since 2008 and we’re excited to continue working with them for years to come,” Dana White said of the new deal. “We love keeping the fans involved and so does Harley-Davidson, so we’re also excited to partner with them for the Hometown Throwdown.”
