The UFC’s love affair with Canada will continue in December when they return to Toronto for the second time this year for the UFC 140 event.

Their previous visit in April of this year for UFC 129: GSP Vs Shields proved to be a landmark moment for the promotion as a record smashing 55,724 fans packed into the Rogers Centre stadium to watch the event live.

This newly announced event won’t be looking to top the scale of that ground-breaking event however – instead it’ll be held at the Air Canada Centre who’s capacity is just below the 20,000 mark.

So far no fights have been announced for the event, but this will be the first major Canadian event in some time that won’t be fronted by the countries very own MMA superstar Georges St.Pierre since he’ll be fronting the UFC 137 event in Las Vegas against Nick Diaz just a couple of months earlier.
