Following today’s UFC Fight Night 48 event in Macau the recipients of the $50,000 fighter bonus awards were announced.

In a break from tradition there was no ‘Fight Of The Night’ award on this occasion, with the UFC instead opting to award four ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonuses instead.

Earning the first one was Michael Bisping for his impressive display of volume striking against Cung Le that culminated with a fourth round TKO thanks to a knee to the head.

Tyron Woodley also got in on the bonus action after he swiftly dispatched Dong Hyun Kim, taking just 61 seconds to TKO him largely thanks to a well timed hook that dropped Kim as he attempted a spinning backfist.

Alberto Mina also scooped up a ‘Performance Of The Night’ award for his first round TKO of Shinsho Anzai, while Yuta Sasaki impressed by submitting Roland Delorme with a rear-naked choke in just 66 seconds.
