UFC Fight Night 51 Medical Suspensions

Andrei Arlovski may have KO’d Antonio Silva in just 2.59mins at UFC Fight Night 51 this past weekend in Brazil, but he still managed to injure himself in the process.

The official list of suspensions reveals that he damaged his wrist during the fight and that means he now potentially faces up to six months on the sidelines, though a doctor can clear him to fight again before that.

Arlovski will no doubt feel it was well worth it however, since this was his biggest win in years and put him back on the map, jumping up to No.7 on the official UFC heavyweight rankings earlier this week.

Meanwhile, Efrain Escudero hurt his knee during his main card defeat, while Piotr Hallmann injured his jaw which will result in both men also facing a 180 day medical suspension.
