Prelims:

Magnus Cedenblad defeats Scott Askham by unanimous decision (29-28 x3)

Cedenblad’s wrestling top control was the big difference between the two men here, though Askham had him in major trouble late in the second round after connecting with a front kick to the face that sent the Swede’s mouthpiece flying. Cedenblad got back up still dazed to be met by a sustained assault of knees and punches against the cage, but he managed to survive to the bell and he was able to drag the fight back to the relative safety of the mat in the final round.

Nico Musoke defeats Alexander Yakovlev by unanimous decision (30-27 x3)

After things picked up in the last fight, it was back to another dull bout here with Musoke opting to use a lot of clinch work against the cage to grind out a decision win.

Dennis Siver defeats Charles Rosa by unanimous decision (30-27 x3)

Now this fight was much more like it. Rosa proved to be a very capable underdog here, proving himself able to be competitive with Siver on the feet, but really coming into his own on the mat from his back where he threatened his opponent multiple times over the course of the fight with leg lock, ambar and triangle attempts, sometimes chained together. Siver proved to be up to the task though, shaking off the attempts, putting Rosa in some compromising positions himself at times with chokes, and managing to maintain top position for the most part. Siver also managed to hurt Rosa late in the third round with a spinning kick to the body that after a couple of seconds forced him to bend over allowing the German to get him to the mat and push for a finish. He couldn’t do so, but Siver claims a hard fought decision victory nonetheless.

Cathal Pendred defeats Gasan Umalatov by split decision (29-28 x2, 28-29)

An underwhelming and at times sloppy stand-up fight here with both men being very cautious on the feet which made it a tricky one to score. Umalatov had the best moment of the bout when he dropped Pendred with a well timed right hand in the second round, but over the three rounds as a whole Pendred was generally the one more likely to be offering what little offense there was here and so he scrapes together a split decision victory.

Krzysztof Jotko defeats Tor Troeng by unanimous decision (30-27 x2, 30-26)

A bit of a sluggish pace to this fight at times, but Jotko was able to both outstrike and outwork Troeng on the feet, utilizing some nice elbows and knees in close at times which hurt his opponent. Troeng never really got going in the bout with Jotko doing well to stuff his attempts to get the fight to the mat.

Mairbek Taisumov defeats Marcin Bandel by TKO at of 1.01mins of Rd1

Taisumov landed a perfect straight right in the opening minute that downed his opponent and then followed up with another right on the mat. Bandel tried to stand but was very unsteady as he did so and the referee decided that was enough.

Zubair Tukhugov defeats Ernest Chavez by TKO at 4.21mins of Rd1

Tukhogov dropped Chaves with a two piece combo, then continued to unload strikes when he stood up again, which soon lead to him taking another trip to the canvas and a TKO victory being awarded.
