Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 56 event in Brazil the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
Thomas Almeida and Tim Gorman earned ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors for their competitive preliminary card scrap that went the distance, with Almeida emerging with his hand raised.
As you might expect, Ovince St. Preux earned a ‘Performance Of The Night’ award after his 36 second destruction of ‘Shogun’ Rua in the main event of the evening.
Finally, Leandro Silva also scooped up a ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus after he was able to get out from under Charlie Brenneman in the first round and tap him with a rear-naked choke.
