Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 57 event in Texas the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 fighter bonus awards were announced.

Debuting strawweights Page VanZant and Kailan Curran won ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors for their energetic, entertaining preliminary scrap which saw them mix it up on the feet, in the clinch and on the mat before PVZ finally produced a third round TKO finish.

Frankie Edgar looked in top form against Cub Swanson in the main event, rightfully scooping up a ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus for a dominant display that was capped off by the latest finish in UFC history with only four seconds left of the 25 minute encounter when he sunk in the fight-ending choke and forced his opponent to tap.

Also earning a ‘Performance Of The Night’ award was Oleksiy Oliynyk who claimed his second win inside the Octagon and shut down Jared Rosholt’s own three-fight unbeaten stretch in the promotion courtesy of a left hook KO in the first round.
