Lorenz Larkin defeats Santiago Ponzinibbio by TKO at 3.07mins of Rd2
Antonio Carlos Junior defeats Eddie Gordon by submission (rear-naked choke) at 4.37mins of Rd3
Carlos Jr caps off a solid performance with a late submission victory here. He looks absolutely huge for this weight class after having previously competed as high as heavyweight, and on the mat in particular he really was in complete control against Gordon, opting mainly for ground and pound from his takedowns in the first couple of rounds, but then taking his back and working for the submission late in the third round, which eventually paid off with just 23 seconds remaining.
Thiago “Marreta” Santos defeats Steve Bosse by KO at 0.29mins of Rd1
Ooft! Santos ends this fight quickly with a brutal head kick KO, connecting his shin directly upside Bosse’s head in the opening 30 seconds of the fight. Bosse was stiffened up on the mat after that one. Highlight-reel stuff from ‘Maretta’.
Hacran Dias defeats Levan Makashvili by split decision (29-28 x2, 28-29)
A close and truth be told not particularly exciting fight here with both men trying to outgrapple each other. It could have gone either way, but Dias gets the nod from two of three judges.
