UFC Fight Night 75 Bonus Awards

Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 75 event in Japan the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.

On this occasion the UFC elected to award four ‘Performance of The Night’ bonuses, starting with main event star Josh Barnett who was able to outstrike and outwork Roy Nelson for five rounds en-route to a unanimous decision victory.

Unquestionably the star of the show however was Uriah Hall who also earned a performance bonus after a spectacular display of striking in the co-main event against the favorite, Gegard Mousasi, rocking him with a perfectly executed spinning back kick and then following it up with a clean knee that floored him, setting up the TKO finish and handing Hall the biggest win of his carer.

Diego Brandao also scooped up a ‘Performance Of The Night’ award after he took just 28 seconds to demolish Katsunori Kikuno,  initially knocking him down with a huge right hand and then not letting him off the hook as he chased him down and blasted away with more big ground and pound punches for the TKO finish.

Finally, Keita Nakamura also goes home with an extra $50,000 in his bank account after a third round, come-from-behind rear-naked choke submission victory over Jingliang Li.
